At Hughes County RWD 6, our goal is to provide safe, clean, sparkling water to all of our residents! We adhere to our mission statement “To enhance the quality of life in southern Hughes county through the development and delivery of quality water and services for the benefit of our subscribers and the rural people we serve”.
As we grow and face the challenges of providing the absolute best possible service, we are often faced with hard decisions. Decisions that aren’t always within our control, between stricter requirements on testing of water quality and diminishing quantities of good water supply, we often find ourselves having to make tough choices. One priority for us, as the managers of your water system, is to make our district sustainable. Insuring we will be able to continue to provide the level of service our members enjoy well into the future is of upmost importance.
