In an effort to provide clear communication with our customers, I wanted to send a reminder to everyone about important topics that I would recommend every customer be aware of.

1. Leak Insurance. There is a document titled Leak Insurance in the “ALL FORMS & REPORTS” folder on our website. Also, under the NEWS tab (leak insurance news) is a document that explains the Leak Insurance Program.

2. Mailing of Bills/Payments.  We have had some astounding opportunities with getting business conducted by the mail service! This news article addresses these points.

3. Subscribing to Our Website. There are many reasons members should subscribe to our website. This is where you will find the most up to date information, forms, and documents. By subscribing and providing your email address, it allows us to communicate on your schedule. A phone number allows you to receive alerts via text message.

4. Emailing of Statements. Hughes County RWD #6 is working with associated partners to develop a process that allows us to email your statements. This will require our customers to provide, with expressed consent, your intent to receive your water bills via email and/or the US Postal Service.

There are a few obligations and modifications to our software to implement before we can deploy this opportunity. Success depends largely on how our customers respond. I encourage everyone to help us by promoting our website and getting more of our customers to subscribe.

Electronic statements will save both you and our district money and time. In the coming weeks we will be asking for anyone wanting emailed statements to send us an email (RWD-6@hotmail.com) from the account you would want your statements delivered to; including the name on the account and account number. We will be utilizing our website to follow up with everyone to ensure this is a successful endeavor.
